Unpacking & Preparing Your Abalone
We ship our abalone in a moisture-filled, oxygen-rich environment.
What you should do: Open the box and the styrofoam container. Place the inflated bag in a refrigerator within a few hours of arrival.
DO NOT TAKE THE ABALONE OUT OF THE BAG until you are ready to prepare them for eating.
Put abalone in the freezer 20 minutes before you begin to process them. Cold temperatures make them less mobile.
